The Little Veg ShopThe shop really is filled to the brim of lots of different things. It is quite often described as the "Alladin's Cave."
We stock a range of fruit and vegetables grown both on the Island, the "Mainland" and further afield. I try to get as most of our produce locally from farmers such as Ben Brown (A E Brown Farm) and Will Steward (The Living Larder). We also have other seasonal growers throughout the year including Stuart who grows Isle of Wight cherries and apricots - Leigh Hunt provides us with the rest of our produce from Southampton fruit and veg market and has looked after us since I took on the business.
The shop also stocks local produce including; eggs from Hazelgrove Farm, cheese from Briddlesford Farm, Green Barn Dairy and the Isle of Wight Cheese Company, milk and cream from Briddlesford Farm, garlic from the Garlic Farm, Honey from Liz the Beekeeper, artisan bread from Island Bakers, tomatoes from the Isle of Wight Tomato Stall, coffee from Jaspers Coffee, gin from the Island Distillery, wine from Adgestone Vineyard, salt from Wight Salt, jam from the Jupes and ice cream from Beau's Ice Cream.
Our Island stockists is forever expanding and evolving as new companies emerge and we find other farmers, growers and producers on our little Island.
